Valid travel document whose expiry date is three months longer than that of the visa requested

The Embassy reserves the right to request further documentation at the interview if and when required - All documents should be provided in original accompanied with a set of photocopies in A4 size

Applicant must have job offered by a employer in Italy

Applicant must have travel medical insurance

Applicant must have sufficient means of subsistence

Applicant must have clean criminal record

Complete certificate of company registration in the business register, with economic administrative repertoire and from which the office held by the visa applicant in the administrative or supervisory board is shown

Copy of a formal declaration of responsibility, previously issued or sent by the legal representative of the company to the competent territorial division of labor - Labor inspection service, with which you indicate, what ratio conferred, even if contractually, with the foreign citizen who will social charge (of administration or control in the company), no employment relationship will be established

Declaration of the legal representative of the company that assures in favor of the applicant a fee exceeding the minimum level required by law for exemption from participation in health care expenses (€ 8.400)

Proof of availability of availability of suitable accommodation, demonstrable according to one of the following methods: contract for the purchase or lease of a property; declaration made pursuant to articles 2 and 4 of the law 4.1.1968, n.15; declaration made pursuant to the same rules by an Italian or foreign citizen legally residing in Italy, stating that he has made available to the applicant a suitable accommodation, corresponding to the minimum parameters provided for by the regional law for public housing

An income, from legitimate sources, of an amount above the minimum level required by law for exemption from participation in health care expenditure (8,400). This minimum income requirement is satisfied in the presence of documentation that certifies the achievement, in the country of residence, of a similar income for the year preceding the visa application, or in the presence of the declaration provided for in point 7

 Passport having validity of 90 days from date of expiry of visa with 1 blank page

Work contract, with the authenticated signature of the director/administrator (or the holder of the license to perform, or of the impresario/Theatre Manager or of a legal representative)

Appropriate professional certification issued by a public Body or qualified private institutes in the country of origin or stable residence of the foreign worker

Inscription certificate of the firm in the register of enterprises

Copy of the last balance sheet deposited with the register of enterprise (capital firm), or of the last declarations of revenue (firms of persons or individual enterprise), from which it is clear that amount of the revenue is sufficient to guarantee the compensation

Copy of the “Dichiarazione di Responsabilita” (Declaration of Responsibility) previously issued or sent by the customer ( or by his legal representative) to the competent “sportello unico immigrazione, Servizio Ispezioni Provinciale del Lavoro”, which indicates that by virtue of the stipulated contract, no rapport of “lavoro subordinato” (subordinate work) will be established

Applicant must have travel medical insurance 

Applicant  must have contract with employer in Italy

 Long term Visa Application Form duly filled in and signed at the Consulate. The applicant must appear in person

Passport-style photo (3,5 cm x 4,5 cm or 1''3/8 x 1''3/4, full front and white background)

Passport or valid travel document valid three months over the planned stay in Italy. The passport will be kept and returned with the visa, if approved

Documented and detailed guarantee of substantial and stable private income originating from pensions, annuities, income from properties or investments funds and income from stable economic and commercial activities

 Official letters from banks, financial consultants, financial institutions, Social Security institutes, etc. and last 2 years of your Income Tax Return

A registered lease or deed for property in Italy

A letter explaining the reasons of your intention to move to Italy

Applicant must be planning to move permanently

Applicant passport must valid three months over the planned stay in Italy

Applicant must provide guarantee of substantial and stable private income originating from pensions, annuities, income from properties or investments funds and income from stable economic and commercial activities
